Bowflex PR3000 Home Gym

When beginning a workout program on a Bowflex PR3000 Home Gym, here are a few tips to help you become successful in your endeavor. Drink a lot of water, a gallon a day, because your body is about 75%-80% water and all your cells and muscles are made mostly of water. Your training should be constant and regular and the weight increase should be slow and constant and as an alternative you can increase the number of reps and sets instead of increasing the weight.

Make sure you warm up properly by light stretching or using a very light weight performing the same exercise in your routine, before moving on to heavier weights. Workout your whole body, instead of just focusing on your biceps and triceps, try focusing on your majority muscle groups, working your back, chest, shoulders, legs, etc and you will find that building your arms will become much easier. Be careful not to over-train, because muscles need the appropriate rest after training so they can renew and grow.

York Dumbbells

I have found out that warm ups before beginning strength training with Dumbbells is very important. A warm up should last between 5-10 minutes and a good rule is to warm up gradually allowing your breathing and heart rate to increase slowly.

While warming up you have a couple of choices, one being a light cardio workout and another would be performing the specific exercise only with lighter weights. Whether you choose one or combine both you will make the transition into your workout easier and let your body prepare itself for your planned exercise routine.

Bowflex Dumbbells

I’ve found that when doing the bicep curl with my Bowflex 552 Dumbbells, having the correct body position is very important. I like to do this exercise standing up with my feet about shoulder width apart.

When holding the Bowflex dumbbells in each hand your arms should be straight down and your palms should be facing towards the side of the thigh. While bracing the stomach muscles always remember, don’t hold your breath and exhale as you perform the lifting of the dumbbell.

Dumbbells

I have found out there are a few things to do before I start lifting with dumbbells. Good preparation involves making sure your body is properly hydrated and fueled.

About an hour or two before my workout I have a light snack and drink some water. Fruits and sports drinks are also a very good option and by doing this your body will be prepared for any type of workout you choose.

Dumbbells

I have found out that doing the chest press with my Stamina Versa-Bell II Dumbbells positioning the body is very important. Start by laying on a bench or floor with a dumbbell firmly gripped in each hand with your feet flat on the surface, then have the dumbbells positioned at the shoulders and your upper arms around 45 degrees to the body.

Next make sure your elbows are forward of your shoulders which will alleviate any stress on the shoulder joint and your palms should be facing forward. Always make sure you brace your abdominal muscles while you slightly tilt the chin toward your chest which should give you a stable and comfortable position.

Dumbbells

I’ve found out that while owning PowerBlock Dumbbells they provide me with more convenience than any other piece of exercise equipment. I have taken them with me on vacation and while being out of town for work.

For a person who likes to workout on a consistent basis, they are easily transported and its like having a personal gym with you. Whether you are in a hotel room or even a tent you will never have to miss a workout.

Bowflex Dumbbells

There are some key points to keep in mind when you are setting up a routine with Bowflex Dumbbells. You should always warm up to prevent injury. Make sure you breathe during the exercises and Do Not hold your breath.

Stand up straight, while paying attention to your posture and keeping good balance you will protect your spine. Never try to lift to much weight, you should be able to lift and lower your weights slowly.
