With Some of their newer models, an Ironman Elliptical Trainer is definitely worth considering. One feature that Ironman promotes is “Center Drive Technology” which can be found on the Ironman Achiever and Ironman CDT Elliptical Trainers. What this means is that instead of a large flywheel out in front of you, there are 2 smaller flywheels on either side of you which helps to ensure proper workout posture.
Both models boast a long 21″ stride which helps in duplicating a more natural motion for your body and producing a more efficient workout. On most reviews the Ironman Ellipticals were given 4 and 5 stars and the positives were smoothness of the ellipticals, the center drive technology and the models are more compact. One note about the longer 21″ stride, is that for anyone under 5′4″ the stride could be a little long for a comfortable workout, but Ironman offers other ellipticals with shorter strides and the Ironman 530E is a great choice at an economical price.
