It’s tough to know exactly how much cardio we need for weight loss, but The American College of Sports Medicine and the American Heart Association recommend about 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous-intensity activity on most days of the week. The variables that separates people are; how many calories you eat, how hard you exercise, your metabolism, age, and gender, your fitness level, your body fat% and weight and your exercise schedule. If you are a beginner, start with 3-4 days of a cardio exercise, working at a level you can handle.
Add time each week to work your way up to 30-45 minutes of continuous exercise and as you get stronger, try interval training once a week to help boost endurance and burn more calories. Work your way up to 5-6 days of cardio and try to vary what you do and how hard you work. The Sole F80 Treadmill (2009 Model) is equipped with 6 preset workouts, 2 customizable programs and 2 heart rate programs to really get a great cardio workout. There’s even a 1/4 mile digital track that you can follow as you run and a peak and valley graph that corresponds to individual programs so you can set up an interval training program.
