Fat burning occurs when the body burns a mix of carbohydrates, as glucose, and fat for fuel. Different variables on the amount of burning fat depend on your physical activity and also what you have recently eaten. What then occurs is; when you use more energy than you take in from food and drink, the body burns stored fat and carbohydrates, and then protein, to fuel your everyday activities even if you are not exercising. Genetics also plays a part in the fat burning process, because the you way eat and exercise your body may decide to get conservative and drop your metabolic rate to try to hold onto body weight and this can be different for all of us.
It has been argued that the body burns a greater percentage of fat at a slow pace, after at least 90 minutes of exercise, but I believe you still burn a higher percentage of fat at a much faster speeds or intensity. There are many ways to accomplish fat burning including strength training, and interval aerobic training which we will get into in future articles. The Sole TT8 Treadmill for its performance and value is a great way to start burning the fat away, because whether you want a low intensity workout, or a high intensity one, this machine will definitely provide you with whatever you choose.
