Weight training, like most physical activities in which repetitive or vigorous movement is involved can cause injuries. Avoiding injury can be done by using a knowledgeable and cautious approach to your weight training exercises. Proper technique while performing the exercises is very crucial to minimizing injury. Safety for a beginner will be different then that of someone that is more experienced and has been training regularly over a period of time.
When you exercise over time, the body builds strength, endurance , bulk and even flexibility and durability in your tendons, ligaments and muscles. This progressive adaptation is called a “training effect”, and its one reason to train regularly on the Bowflex PR3000 Home Gym with over 50 strength exercises and a built- in rowing station, so you can gradually increase at your own rate, intensity, load and the amount of time of your workout. Safety is for beginners as well as experienced weight lifters, so always warm up to start and have a workout partner in case a problem arises.
