When first starting from scratch with a lot of weight to lose and you are not really familiar with exercise programs than a good one to start with is, walking and a PowerBlock Dumbbell Workout. The key in starting out your routine is to move more during non-exercise activity. Walk, Walk, and Walk some more, and you can mix this up with slow jogging if you feel up to it, but at least 40 minutes of brisk walking 4-6 days a week.
The second part involves performing at least 3 PowerBlock Dumbbell Workouts, ( bicep curl, tricep extension, shoulder press, chest press, lunge, bent over row, etc.). Having PowerBlock Dumbbells are very convenient and space saving, along with giving yourself a terrific workout. Try doing 3 sets with at least 10 - 12 reps of at least 3 exercises and feel free to change up the exercises to keep your workout fresh.
